Our school was selected to launch Children’s Week. We hosted a special assembly where members of parliament, members of Children’s week organisation and Governing Council came along. The Margaret Lohmeyer Kindy, Junior Singers and Boy’s Choir performed and many speeches were made. Gifts were presented to our special guests. It was a long assembly, but the children were such a respectful audience. Our artwork looked fantastic on the walls of the hall too.
